Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer on Thursday said that future technology trends such as user interface, language, cloud computing, chip and form factors that the world should watch out for. future technology like Cloud computing services which are expected to create 300,000 jobs in India. He added that almost 500 million personal computers have been shipped that have Windows 7, the latest future technology operating system by the company. In this field, cloud will enable simulation of the physical world in its virtual format, he said.
The future technology like Cloud computing technologies start with developing natural human interfaces which recognise basic human characteristics like voice and touch. The software giant is looking at working with Finnish mobile phone manufacturer Nokia to develop future technology mobile devices. "Our partnership with Nokia is an important step forward and India is a priority market. The key there is not only to innovate on future technology software but also work on next-generation hardware innovations," Ballmer said.
